Story

Hi!

This February, I’ll be running 250km with the goal of raising $2,500 for UpsideDowns.

UpsideDowns is a charity that supports children with Down syndrome by helping them access speech and language therapy, a vital part of early intervention. It’s widely recognised that speech and language therapy plays a key role in supporting the cognitive and social development of children with Down syndrome.

For many families, accessing this support can be difficult. UpsideDowns helps remove those barriers so children can develop the communication skills they need to connect, learn, and thrive.

Thanks for supporting the cause!!!

The Upside Downs Education Trust

UpsideDowns is on a mission to give a voice to kids with Down syndrome. We provide access to essential and life-changing speech and language therapy for kids with Down syndrome all over Aotearoa New Zealand. Learning to speak can be a real challenge for kids with Down syndrome, but unfortunately the therapy they need is not publicly available, and is beyond the reach of most families. That's where we come in - can you help us?
