Story
Hi all wonderful friends and family so here's the thing, I am running the Waiheke Half Marathon THIS SATURDAY 6 MAY and I have left it extremely late to fundraise for a charity – but I figure better late than never!
So I have decided to try and drum up a bit of cash for SHINE
SHINE is national domestic abuse charity and runs a domestic abuse helpline to help keep people safe from domestic abuse and family violence.
While family violence occurs in all kinds of families, increasing levels of poverty in NZ are increasing the amount of family violence, as the stress of coping becomes all too much. Children are often the worst affected in these terrible situations.
PLEASE consider chucking a few $$ my way TODAY and TOMORROW to help make a real difference to someone's life!

Our major annual fundraiser is Light It Orange. We invite all Kiwis - individuals, schools, workplaces, and other teams - to participate in Light It Orange to raise awareness and funds to help victims of family violence. Help us to shine a light in the darkness!
